Belong Group

BELONG is a Couple Companionship Group in Malta which accompanies couples who are preparing for marriage and also those who are in their early years of married life. It is a reference point to those who desire to enhance their relationship and invest in their marriage. It provides a great place for couples to meet others who share the same values.

BELONG holds open Monthly Meetings which create a contemporary environment as modern audio-visuals are frequently used. Couples can freely attend without any obligation. Meetings are varied in format and interactive. Different topics are discussed, such as relationship issues and practical situations of married life. Meetings end with a short time of Adoration and then refreshments are freely served.

BELONG organises also day seminars for those in a steady relationship and weekends for married couples. The group holds fun social activities such as picnics, BBQ’s, New Year’s Eve celebrations, Eucharistic Celebrations, Meals and much more. It is part of IMPACT Families Couples' Ministry, within the Catholic Church.

Its Vision is in its name, aiming to enrich couples in three major aspects:
• belong to each other as they nurture their relationship,
• belong to a group where Christian values are shared,
• belong to God as the foundation of their marriage.

Impact Families

IMPACT Families is a communion of families bringing the richness of God’s love and fellowship by virtue of their being. It helps couples strengthen their marital commitment and live their covenant of love and life to its fullness. Sustaining them to reinforce their relationship, nurture couple spirituality and mature through teaching, celebration & ministry.

IMPACT Families is an outward-looking Couples’ Ministry which equips its members to be of service and available to others while giving high priority to their marital commitment and family life. Impact Kids is an integral part of this ministry, aiming to form today's children so that they will be able to impact society tomorrow.

Our Mission is to bring hope and joy into Marriage, help couples root their Unity and Family life on Christ by providing an environment where they can experience God’s love through prayer, communion, teaching and formation, so they may discern their common life project and be authentic witnesses to their family and Maltese society.

Our Vision is to see married couples become a mutual source of God's grace and a sacramental sign to others. To see families renew strong Christian values so that they will minister effectively to couples who are preparing for marriage and accompany them to grasp the wealth within the Sacrament of Marriage.
